Susanne Kirchmayr has been DJing as Electric Indigo since 1989, spent the early nineties behind the counter at Hardwax in Berlin, and in 1998 founded female:pressure — the database and network that made the number of female, non-binary and trans artists in electronic music impossible to wave away.
